Not all activities have to take place during your week at work. Get a group of work friends together and take an adventure to a place of natural beauty – you’ll be surprised what our wee country has to offer! Ask around for a place of interest such as forest or lake walks, trekking routes or local tourist attractions. Once you have decided, create an event and champion a day for unwinding after a busy week by taking notice of the sights, wildlife, sounds and smells out in the fresh air.

If you find it difficult to arrange a date that suits everyone, start a photography competition over a month and see who can capture the most creative and scenic moment in their own time. You can even offer a prize for the winner!
