New resources from Parenting NI

COVID-19 and Family Health

Another week in lockdown and it's the start of a new 'school term'! As we bring you another weekly round up of the resources we're been sharing, we want to remind you not to be hard on yourself. Try not to stress too much about school work and enjoy the time together in the sunshine (when it's here!), play games and get creative. Sharing fun and laughter together will help reduce the negative impacts of what we're all currently experiencing. Don't forget that children can learn from every day activities which may not be thought of as traditionally academic. You can find out more about that here.

Long Creations have made a free printable activity booklet to help you and your children mark what we are experiencing right now. It includes a page for you to write a letter to your child. This is a creative activity to do together and will leave you with something to look back on when it's all over. Follow the link below to get access to the COVID-19 Time Capsule booklet.

Education doesn't have to take place at a desk with paper and pens, look out for learning in every day activities.
