Autism NI - Autism & Sensory Processing Course

Autism NI offer a range of online and in person support courses for parents and carers pre and post diagnosis. Our interactive courses will enable families to increase knowledge and understanding, and learn practical skills to support our neurodiverse community reach their full potential.

Our support courses are co-created with autistic people. We cover important topics such as exploring the fundamentals of autism, sleep, anxiety, sensory, behaviours growing up, and supporting your teen.

This course is available for parents, carers and extended family members pre and post diagnosis.

Course Aim: This course will provide an introduction to exploring sensory processing differences in relation to autism. The course will explore a range of sensory ideas and strategies that can be implemented at home or in other environments.

Training Cancellation Policy: For funded places, please contact Autism NI as soon as possible if you are unable to use your place, as we can then offer this place to another family on the waiting list.
