British Red Cross - Financial Help
If you're struggling with debt or other money problems and need to get through a period of financial difficulty, we can help you find free financial advice.
Do you have money worries?
Financial difficulty can hit people from all walks of life. Your finances may have been impacted by the coronavirus pandemic for example, or other unforeseen circumstances such as illness, or a relationship breakdown.
Whatever the reason, if you're worried about paying your rent, bills or mortgage, spending more than you earn, or relying on credit cards, help is at hand. Money problems can quickly become overwhelming, affecting your mental and physical wellbeing. But seeking help and taking control will make you feel a lot better.
What help can I get?
Turn2Us is a national charity that provides free financial advice and support to people in the UK in crisis. They will be able to provide advice on:
- what benefits you may be entitled to
- which charitable grants you can apply for
- how to reduce fuel bills
- local services that could support you.
Together, we have developed some helpful resources, to help those we support access information and funds if they are experiencing financial hardship.
These include a benefits calculator and a grants search tool. You'll also be able to talk to someone about your personal situation and find a way forward. Click here to access the Turn2Us service.
