Cancer Focus NI - Sing For Life
When someone is diagnosed with cancer, they may experience feelings of shock, anger, or confusion. Even the most supportive family members, friends, or employers cannot understand exactly how it feels to go through a cancer journey.
Our charity’s patient support choir provides members with the opportunity to meet others living with, or affected by, cancer.
What to expect?
Joining the choir gives you the chance to meet others living with cancer and to share time together in a friendly, supportive environment. You don’t need previous musical experience, and friends and family are welcome too.
Support provided:
- Peer encouragement
- Reduced social isolation
- Fun and friendship
About the service
Becoming a Sing for Life member is easy. With no subscription fee and no need to audition, we are open to people who have or have had cancer or carers/family members of someone who has had cancer.
You will be invited to come along to St Brigid’s Parish Hall, Belfast to meet our friendly choir members. Rehearsals run from 6-7.30pm every Monday evening with tea and coffee provided on arrival.
