Eating Disorders Association NI - Advocacy Service
Eating Disorders Association (N.I.) can provide an advocacy service, engaging with health professionals, politicians and statutory agencies, on behalf of those affected by eating disorders and their families.
This is a vital and much needed service with an increasing number of individuals contacting us each year to act on their behalf and help them to find their voice. This service is hugely beneficial. Living with an eating disorder can be very exhausting, confusing and indeed lonely, thus, it can be a great comfort to people to know that they can lean on us for support, advice and advocacy to alleviate that burden.
If you are struggling to access support services or you are a parent/carer who is struggling to access support services for a loved one affected by an eating disorder, please do not hesitate to contact us via email or phone and we will endeavour to support you in accessing the care and support that you need and deserve.
