Libraries NI - Homecall

Libraries NI can provide a free Homecall service to your home if you have significant difficulty in visiting your local branch/mobile library due to:

  • ill health
  • disability
  • lack of mobility.

The Homecall service enables you to contact your local library and request a selection of books to be delivered to your home if you are unable to visit the library yourself or do not have someone who can go to the library on your behalf.

Just inform staff what genre of books you like to read and/or a particular author you enjoy, and staff will deliver a number of books based on your preference to your home on a three-weekly basis. To find out more about this service, please contact your local library and an Area Manager will be in contact with further details.
