The EA Health & Wellbeing Team have arranged for Kith & Kin Financial Wellbeing to deliver an information session to EA NILGOSC members covering the important aspects of AVC’s.

AVC’s are a way of topping up your NILGOSC pension and can be paid through the in-house AVC provider, Prudential.

The information session aims to educate members on a range of important aspects of financial planning for retirement. Regardless of age it’s never too early to start planning or indeed never too late to boost your tax free cash sum and/or pension.

The information session will focus on –

• What is an AVC? 
• What are the benefits of starting AVCs? 
• When can I take my AVC? 
• Can I take my AVC as a lump sum? 
• Are there any risks in starting an AVC?
