EA Open Water Swimming Event – An Introduction!
27 June, 2022 - 13:00 to 16:00

The EA Open Water Swimming Network has been established since 2021 and we will now be officially having our first ‘meet up’. This is long overdue and we are wanting to take our network from virtual straight to the open water.

The days are lengthening and the water warming up so we are eagar to get out & enjoy swimming outdoors.

This event is for anyone who can swim but has little or no experience of swimming outdoors or if you have a little experience and you want to learn more about acclimatising to cold water, control your breathing, treading water, safety, improve your technique and much more.

The session will be led by Mo McCoy who has previously provided us with safety talks and information sessions virtually and is an experienced open water swimmer and coach.

We are hosting this event at Moira Lakes which is a small lake with easy accessibility into the water, changing facilities and warm showers!

Please bring hat, goggles and a tow float and come along and discover the joy of swimming outdoors!

We would love for you to join us at Moira Lakes on Monday 27th June 2022 from 1pm – 4pm

Please register your interest on the right.
