Calling all primary schools! Please join us for an exciting and interactive ‘Keeping Safe Online’ virtual workshop as part of Safer Internet Day 2024.
This virtual event is aimed at young people in P5, P6 and P7 (Key Stage 2) and will help them understand how they can enjoy being online while keeping themselves as safe as possible!
We will share hints and tips, include interactive activities linked to topics such as ‘Friend or Pretend’, Beware What You Share’ and Don’t be Mean Onscreen’ and a chance for young people to talk about their experiences of being online and ask some questions they have.
Teacher and Parent handbooks to support young people to keep safe online will be shared after the event with participating schools. This workshop is being delivered by Business in the Community, in partnership with Allstate Northern Ireland and the Police Service for Northern Ireland.
Whether you have one class or whole year groups in P5, P6, P7 that want to participate, please join us.
