Dementia NI - Empowerment Groups

Find your nearest meeting by clicking the link below. The group meetings usually last for two hours, however on occasions this time may be adjusted accordingly. Light refreshments will be made available. Dementia NI meetings regularly host visitors who may ask for our opinions and experiences on topics related to living with dementia. For your first meeting, it is recommended you bring along a close friend, carer or relative, who is welcome to join the meeting for the first 30 minutes. After this time, if you feel comfortable and wish to stay for the remainder of the meeting, your companion will be asked to leave the room if they want to and wait for you close by until the meeting ends.
