Omagh Half Marathon 2024 fundraising for Support 2gether
Susan Campbell, CYPS is undertaking a 5k in the Omagh Half Marathon 2024 on 7 April 2024, raising awareness and vital funds for Support 2gether who provide education and support for families living with Antenatal, Postnatal Depression & Anxiety.
Support 2gether’s identity is a sunflower, a powerful symbol of positivity, strength, and happiness, which can help to communicate a sense of hope and optimism to those who are struggling with depression & anxiety.
The Support2gether team all have first-hand, lived experience of perinatal mental illness, and therefore, can automatically connect with the parents through empathy, hope, and a personal touch. Their mission is to provide support at both antenatal and postnatal stages, offering empathy, hope, and valuable guidance along the way.
Support 2gether aim to complement the incredible work of our overstretched and under-resourced NHS, recognizing the crucial role early intervention plays in preventing further decline in mental health.
Contributions from the National Lottery and individual donations allow them to reach more parents in need in our local area. With your invaluable help and support, Support 2gether can ensure that no parent ever feels alone on their journey.
The EA Charity sub-committee wish Susan all the very best in this endeavor and anyone wishing to donate to this vital cause please follow the link placed below:
