Today the Consumer Council launches their first Northern Ireland Consumer Week www.niconsumerweek.co.uk
Last year brought unimaginable disruption to the health, livelihoods and finances of many. For consumers in Northern Ireland, dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic alongside EU Exit, has made life much harder because their combined impact touches us all.
To help consumers in Northern Ireland overcome these challenges and start to plan for the future, The Consumer Council has launched its first Consumer Week. It will offer you videos of their in-house experts and partners providing consumers and businesses with advice on:-
- Personal Finances
- The future of transport and travel
- Healthy cooking on a budget
- Shopping responsibly online, stay safe from scams
- Water efficiency measure
- Issues impacting young consumers
- and much more
There has never been a more important time to protect and represent consumer interests. In the last twelve months The Consumer Council have returned over £1 million to the pockets of consumers in Northern Ireland, helping over 9,000 with free, independent advice and dispute resolution.
