Chris Mercer

My background is in events management, graduating with a bachelor's degree from Ulster University in 2018.

In my spare time, I enjoy going to the gym, watching films, going to the cinema and am also a big professional wrestling fan. One of my passions is around health and wellbeing. Before becoming a youth worker, I was a flare ambassador as a young person with the education authority, advocating upon mental health issues for young people and developing educational resources.

Currently I proudly work as an Area Youth Worker for the Education Authority, working with the future leaders of Northern Ireland on the One Young World ambassador program and am also entering into the final year of my master's in Youth and Community Work.
