Kevin Holly
Hello, my name is Kevin Holly.
I have always been an advocate for mental health in my personal and professional life. I started my career as a primary school teacher specialising in Early Years and SEN and taught in the Integrated Education Sector for 15 years. I joined EA in Jan 2021 as Senior Teacher at Little Oaks EOTAS in Derry which is part of the EA Primary Behaviour Support & Provisions (PBS&P) Service.
Outside work I enjoy spending quality time with family and friends, drinking coffee and eating out. I previously competed in too many triathlons and marathons; now I am an avid gym goer.
I am on the board of directors for ‘FUSE Arts’ which is a community arts commissioning and producing company who work collaboratively to facilitate arts opportunities that unite communities, support the creative infrastructure and engage people of all ages.
I am also a committee member for ‘Claude’s Christmas’ where we work with all agencies and groups to provide a Christmas dinner, gift and connection to over 700 people.
I believe it’s of utmost importance that we look after our own health and wellbeing. We are all doing our very best, but life can be very challenging for us all in different ways at different times. Being connected to yourself and others can make life more enjoyable and also allow us to help ourself and eachother when needed.
