Louise Hunt

Hello. My name is Louise and I am a literacy teacher based in Banbridge Reading Centre. My particular interest is in supporting and teaching pupils with specific literacy difficulties/dyslexia. My studies have been in this area with a focus on developing the child’s self-esteem and giving the pupil a voice in their learning.

My interests include walking and yoga. I am the mother of four children. My husband and I last year invested in a campervan in the anticipation of improving our health and well-being.

I volunteered to be a Health and Wellbeing Champion as I know how important a work life balance is. I am happy to be a point of contact for my colleagues within our team to promote events and opportunities organised that may be of interest and benefit to them.
