Sara Liddell

My name is Sara Liddell and I am Principal of Knockevin Special School in Co Down. I am passionate about Special Education and building capacity to meet ever changing needs within the sector.

I love travel and going to the theatre. In my spare time I help run an inclusive drama group called Dramability which is lots of fun! I also volunteer with a dog rescue charity and one of my favourite pastimes is going for long walks (usually followed by coffee and cake!)

I have always been really interested in developing wellbeing and resilience in myself and others around me. I live by the '5 Ways to Wellbeing' and am a Mental Health First Aider and a member of the Health and Wellbeing Champion Team. This gives me the opportunity to have input into, and share within my school and with others, a wide range of initiatives and events.
