Teresa Rafferty
Hello everyone! My name is Teresa Rafferty and I work in the Digital Transformation and Innovation section of the Continuous Improvement Team. I am proud to say I have worked in Education for over 32 years and still going strong.
My hobbies include ‘gentle’ runs/walks around the hills near my home in beautiful Tyrone, swimming and looking after my much-loved family (including one handsome son, two spoilt cats and an even more spoilt 15 year old blind puppy). I am a keen crafter/artist and have lots of cross-stitched pictures, tapestries and acrylic paintings hanging everywhere and anywhere including in friends and family’s homes.
I enjoy participating and donating to charity events, especially those close to my heart, including a Swimathon for Marie Currie in memory of my Daddy, fundraising for Bone Cancer Research, participating in the largest ‘Rock the Boat’ in Keady which made it into the Guinness World Records and climbing (and falling) on Croagh Patrick for Cancer Research UK.
I became a Health and Wellbeing Champion to enable me to share my passion for and to promote Health and Wellbeing with my team.
