BITCNI - Rethink Your Resilience

Helping employees become more resilient, by giving them the skills to reframe negative thinking and make healthier lifestyle choices.

Business in the Community NI has partnered with ARC Healthy Living Centre and Bogside & Brandywell Health Forum, in the Western Health & Social Care Trust area to deliver the #RETHINK programme which supports individuals to prepare for and cope with life’s uncertainties with the aim of building resilient individuals and communities.

As part of #RETHINK, Business in the Community NI offers a virtual, six-week resilience development programme, Rethink Your Resilience, for groups of up to 15 employees from organisations based in the Western Trust area.

These sessions help the individual become more resilient through: learning how to reframe negative thinking; adopting positive resilience approaches; and making healthier lifestyle choices that are better for physical, mental and social wellbeing – a holistic approach.

Session themes include:

  • Week 1 – Adjusting to the way we think
  • Week 2 – Maintaining a healthy mind
  • Week 3 – Maintaining a healthy body
  • Week 4 – Keeping active
  • Week 5 – Healthy relationships and circle of support
  • Week 6 – Reflection and learning

On completion of the six-week programme, individuals will discuss and tailor the format of their own four-week, step-down social programme, depending on personal need. Please note that participants must be over 25 years of age.
