The Consumer Council - Workshops

We provide outreach services for organisations and local businesses across Northern Ireland. We can come to you and your service users, in a way that suits you (either face-to-face or online) to talk about our information, services, and advice. We are here to help you.

If you are a community, charitable or voluntary group, advice organisation, or business in Northern Ireland and think your service users or colleagues would benefit from hearing from the Consumer Council, we would be delighted to help.

We offer a wide range of free talks and presentations to suit the needs of you and your service users, including:

  • How the Consumer Council can help you – an overview of our complaint investigation service
  • Information and advice on saving on household bills including ways to reduce your energy bills or reduce your food costs
  • Consumer rights when traveling or shopping
  • Financial services and illegal money lending 
  • Scams
