This Cancer Awareness Session is aimed to increase knowledge of common cancers that affect women in NI, i.e. breast, cervical and ovarian, but also looks at skin, bowel and lung cancer.

In addition to information on the cancers, information on screening services, signs and symptoms, the importance of self-checking and how to self-examine is also provided, along with lifestyle advice that can help reduce cancer risk (e.g. alcohol limits, nutrition, physical activity and smoking).
