Lung Cancer Awareness Month
Lung Cancer Awareness Month is observed every November.
It’s a global campaign dedicated to:
Raising awareness about lung cancer — its risks, symptoms, early detection, and treatment options.
Supporting patients and families affected by the disease.
Encouraging research and advocacy for better prevention, diagnosis, and care.
It's a time to pause and think about the importance of our lung health. Lung cancer is one of the most common cancers, but with greater awareness and early detection, there’s a lot of hope. It’s not just something that affects smokers — anyone can be at risk — so knowing the signs, like a persistent cough or shortness of breath, really matters.
This month is also about standing with those affected and celebrating progress in research and treatment. Every conversation, every shared story, and every small lifestyle change helps. Take a deep breath, check in on your wellbeing, and encourage those around you to do the same — because every breath counts.
