Financial Wellbeing is one of the key themes within the Education Authority’s Health & Wellbeing strategy. To further support the financial wellbeing of staff the Education Authority have signed up to the Money and Pensions Service (MaPS) Workplace Financial Wellbeing Pledge. The Workplace Financial Wellbeing Pledge is currently a pilot programme from MaPS that aims to help employers to make a public commitment to support the financial wellbeing of employees and take action to help them improve it.

Financial wellbeing is about feeling secure and in control. It is about making the most of your money day to day, dealing with the unexpected, and being on track for a healthy financial future. In short: financially resilient, confident and empowered.
