Alzheimer's Society - Corporate Volunteering
Make an impact in your community by partnering with Alzheimer’s Society to help people affected by dementia.
Why choose corporate volunteering with Alzheimer's Society?
By taking on a corporate volunteering role, your business can make a positive impact in the local community and provide vital support for people affected by dementia.
We want to create a society in which people with dementia feel understood, valued and able to contribute to society. Businesses have a vital role to play in leading this change.
What does corporate volunteering involve?
Depending on your business’ size, skills and availability, there are lots of ways employees can support people affected by dementia. For example, our corporate volunteers have been involved in:
- Supporting our dementia services, such as helping to facilitate a Singing for the Brain session
- Pro Bono volunteering, using existing skills and expertise to improve our business and process.
What training is provided?
Full training for each volunteering role will be provided where necessary. For one-off opportunities, you will be managed by your account manager and operations staff. For ongoing opportunities you will have regular contact with both the account manager and role manager.
