EA GLEAM Network Roadshow

Join GLeaM for our upcoming Roadshow as an informal opportunity to meet with colleagues.

Open to all staff - new and returning.

You don’t have to identify as LGBTQ+ to attend.

GLeaM is the EA Staff Network for LGBTQ+ Staff and Friends. It is open to all EA staff.

It’s aims are to:

 

  • Promote a better understanding of LGBTQ+ inclusion and make LGBT experiences more visible in the wider organisation;
  • Plan and deliver a programme of activities that reflects the needs and interests of LGBTQ+ staff & Friends and help coordinate and organise staff attendance at LGBTQ+ events;
  • Develop relationships with other employers and work closely with other staff networks and external organisations to share best practice;
  • Provide networking opportunities and peer support, including informal mentoring and coaching, for members and Friends;
  • Work alongside, support and advise management and staff on LGBTQ+ workplace issues and provide feedback on how the organisation’s decisions, policies and processes can be improved.

Please note that any EA Staff Member (School and Corporate) can join the GLeaM Network, and are permitted to register for the below sessions. You do not need to identify as LGBTQ+ to join GLeaM.

Over the coming weeks and months, GLeaM is hosting an in-person Roadshow of Events across North, South, East and West areas.

This will be a very informal opportunity to meet, connect, or reconnect with colleagues. Everyone is welcome – we would love to see you there!You don’t have to be a member to join!
