Walking and cycling are excellent, greener ways to commute for everyday journeys and great ways to exercise during leisure time to improve health and wellbeing. During the spring and summer I will bring workplaces in east Belfast regular updates on activities at our Active Travel Hub at CS Lewis Square, which we hope you and your colleagues may engage with and enjoy.

Sustrans NI Bike Ready WebinarsAre you new to cycling or looking to build greater knowledge about active travel by bike?Well, our Bike Ready Webinar series is just the ticket to answer all your questions. Every Wednesday at 8pm, our webinars provide you with practical information on topics including clothing, lights, bike security, routes and cycling infrastructure.

2. Cycling Programme at the Sustrans Active Travel Hub, CS Lewis Square, 402 Newtownards Road, BelfastCycling is a great way to keep fit and enjoy the out of doors. If you are just returning to cycling, would like some basic bike maintenance skills, want to try out an e-bike or would like join a cycle ride along some of our local greenways, check out the following activities (more coming soon!):

3. WalkingAs more of us our working at home it is even more important to remember to get outside and enjoy some exercise and fresh air. Walking not only has benefits for our physical health but will also help to boost mood and increase our sense of wellbeing.
