World Book Week – Support our Book Drive and our Time to Read Schools!

Get involved and help us provide our local primary schools with some new reading resources.

Can you help us support our Time to Read book drive during World Book Week? Get involved and help us provide our local primary schools with some new reading resources.

All you need to do is display our poster and encourage your staff to bring children’s books to work.

Books can be new or previously loved (in good condition) for children aged 7-11.

Gather the books at a designated drop-off point and we’ll arrange to have the books collected and distributed to the primary schools involved in our Time to Read programme.

Alternatively, if you have Time to Read volunteers at your organisation, they can take these books to their Time to Read schools on their next visit. All we ask is that you let us know how many books you will donating to respective schools and maybe share a picture with us on your social media platforms

Some of the popular authors for this age group are: Roald Dahl, David Walliams, Jeff Kinney, Lauren Child, Dan Freedman, Jacqueline Wilson, Michael Morpurgo. Judy Blume, H. A. Rey or Michael Rosen.

For more information on the Time to Read programme, or to find out how you can help us purchase new book resources, please contact Ciara Mulgrew.
