Children’s Grief Awareness Week UK 18-25 November 2021

The Somewhere For Us Children and Young People’s Project, funded by the National Lottery Community Fund NI, is organising an online event on Supporting Bereaved Children and Young People on Tuesday, 23 November at 10 am – 11 am.

The webinar will address the importance of supporting children and young people who have been bereaved and how we can work together to provide this support. We will hear from Koulla Yiasouma, NI Commissioner for Children and Young People, Ruth Graham, CYP BV at Cruse Bereavement Support and Ashleigh Maynard, Youth Consultant for Hope Again website.

Eleanor Ellerslie and Linda Warwick, from the Somewhere For Us Project team will also talk about the project and the opportunities to work with organisations and schools, providing much needed support to children and young people who have been coping with their grief during the Covid-19 pandemic.
