We will be joined by Fiona from Cancer Focus NI via MS Teams on Thursday 11 March 2021 @ 2pm who will be discussing Nutrition and Cancer Prevention. 

This session will look at the close link between nutrition, obesity and cancer prevalence. This session will cover:

 

• The NHS Eatwell guide and the importance of a balanced diet

• Inflammation and its effects on the body

• The dangers of processed foods and salt intake

• Sugar addiction and water intake

• The link between obesity and cancer.
