Home ownership with Co-Ownership – Information Session

Managing Your Money / Money Troubles

Tuesday 4 July, 11.00am – 12.00pm

The Money Guiders NI network welcomes Niall McNulty from Co-Ownership Housing NI to discuss the options provided by Co-Ownership to support people onto the property ladder.

The session will cover:

  1. Co-Own: Choose your home, buy as much of it as you can afford. We help you with the rest.
  2. Rent to Own: Find a new build. Rent it from us for up to 3 years after which time you buy it from us.
  3. Co-Own for Over 55s’: Many people in later life find themselves living in a home that has become unsuitable due to a change in circumstances such as their family life, location, health or other issues. The trouble is that often their current house may not have the monetary value (equity) they need to buy their new home and getting a mortgage to cover the difference isn’t an option.
