EA Christmas Family Food Appeal - 2023

EA’s Health and Wellbeing Team is delighted to launch the EA Christmas Family Food Appeal in partnership with The Trussell Trust which will run from Monday 13 November – Thursday 7 December 2023.

There are many ways to get involved with this giving back appeal, supporting the work of local food banks.

Firstly, If you are in a position too, we are calling on staff in schools and EA services to donate food related items to help children, young people and their families during the Christmas period.

Alternatively, you may be interested in taking part in a volunteering opportunity for approved staff to support The Trussell Trust’s Winter Collection Event taking place in various Tesco Stores – Visit here to find out more about this volunteering opportunity

 

How can I/ we help?

In three simple steps:

1. On your next shopping trip pick up an extra item(s) from the most needed items below:

Rice

Female sanitary products

Diluting Juice

Tea, Coffee & Sugar

Red & Brown Sauce

Soap

Tinned Biscuits and Sweets

Household Cleaning Items

2. Please drop the item(s) off at EA Offices (Reception), where there is a Green Food Bank Crate/Box waiting.

3. Place your item(s) in the crate and we thank you in advance for your generosity!

 

All donated items will be distributed in your local area. We look forward to updating you on the difference you will make to children, young people, and their families within our communities during this Christmas period.

*As currently The Trussell Trust does not have a Food Bank in the Omagh Area, we have liaised with The Outreach Centre and REACH Food Bank, Omagh all donations will be distributed locally.
