Women's Aid NI recently delivered a webinar for EA staff on domestic & sexual violence & abuse in Northern Ireland, setting the scene locally and putting in context what is meant by domestic abuse including:

• Background: Setting the scene

• Issues for participants: Fears and expectations

• Beliefs and Attitudes about domestic & sexual violence

• The impact on those living with abuse including children and young people

• An update on current and proposed legislation within NI will be covered including the new offence of coercive control

• Know ‘pathways to support’ – referral to local services available to victims/survivors of domestic and sexual abuse/violence

• Resourcing
