EA Lending Library - Omagh

Men's Health / Women's Health / Workplace Health

Reading books benefits both your physical and mental health, and those benefits can last a lifetime. They begin in early childhood and continue through the senior years.

Reading is very, very good for you. Research shows that regular reading:

  • Improves brain connectivity
  • Increases your vocabulary and comprehension
  • Empowers you to empathize with other people
  • Aids in sleep readiness
  • Reduces stress
  • Lowers blood pressure and heart rate
  • Fights depression symptoms
  • Prevents cognitive decline as you age
  • Contributes to a longer life

With all this in mind the Health and Wellbeing Team along with the EA Champion Network are thrilled to bring the EA Lending Library to Omagh HQ.

The Lending Library is located in the Canteen at Omagh HQ and is stocked with a range of books, waiting for you to enjoy!

The rules are simple:

  1. Take a book or two
  2. If possible, leave a book or two

We’d be delighted to hear of any questions or comments you may have on the Lending Library, please email healthandwellbeing@eani.org.uk
