Launch of the EA Domestic and Sexual Violence and Abuse Workplace Policy

Today we launch the EA Domestic and Sexual Violence and Abuse Workplace Policy. The launch takes place as part of the 16 Days of Action against Domestic Violence.

The decision to make the event span from 25 November to 10 December was deliberate as to include three other major events: International Human Rights Defenders Day (29 November), World Aids Day (1 December) and the anniversary of the Montreal École Polytechnique Massacre (6 December). This is to highlight the connection between human rights and domestic violence. You can also find out more information at the White Ribbon Campaign.

EA has a ‘zero tolerance’ position on domestic and sexual violence and abuse and is committed to ensuring that any employee who is the victim of domestic and sexual violence and abuse has the right to raise the issue with their employer in the knowledge that they will receive appropriate support and assistance.
