Movember 2024

Mental Health / Cancer / Men's Health

In 2003, Movember, a movement for men's health, was created. A movement that has since funded over 1,320 men's health projects around the world, challenging the status quo, shaking up men’s health research and transforming the way health services reach and support men.

We've taken on three of the biggest health issues affecting men: mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer. As a result, men are living healthier, longer lives.

This movement started with 30 Mo Bros. Now, it claims a headcount of over 6 million. And we're not done yet.

Movember, the month formerly known as November, is when brave and selfless men around the world grow a moustache, and women step up to support them, all to raise awareness and funds for men's health - specifically prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention.

Get Involved

It's about working together to make things better for men in the UK. Quick steps to taking action:

1. Sign up at Movember.com to grow, move, or host an event

2. Use the moustache during Movember to have conversations about men’s health and raise funds and awareness

3. Make Man Time - Stay connected. Your mates are important and spending time with them is good for you. Catch up regularly, check in and make time

4. Talk: have conversations, especially about the tough stuff

5. Move more - do more of what makes you feel good

Help us to fund cutting-edge research and support men living with prostate cancer, testicular cancer and ill mental heatlh.
