EA Mental Health First Aider Trainers Presentation

Mental Health

Huge congratulations to 4 EA Staff; Una McCartney, Lynette Bailie, Jim Weir and Julie Ferry who are pictured here attending the recent PHA presentation of their Mental Health First Aider Trainer Certificates. They were presented their certificates by Mr Colin Coffey, PHA Chairman at the presentation ceremony in the Dunsilly Hotel.

Well done to all of you on completing your training programme and for all the excellent work and training you have provided over the past number of months. EA is proud to have 4 Mental Health First Aider trainers delivering our Mental Health First Aider training programme to help support colleagues in the workplace. The EA now have over 330 Mental Health First Aiders trained in our schools and offices.

Mental Health First Aid is about equipping a person to spot the signs of a mental health problem, to give colleagues and friends someone to turn to when they are struggling with their mental health and to assist until appropriate professional treatment is received.

If you are interested in joining the EA Mental Health First Aider Network and would like to complete the MHFA training, please contact: healthandwellbeing@eani.org.uk
