Do you want to become an EA Health & Wellbeing Champion?

As part of the EA’s Health & Wellbeing Strategy we are seeking representatives to add to our existing Health & Wellbeing Champion Network which has been up and running for the last 18 months.

The role of a Health & Wellbeing Champion is to act as ambassadors, drive and promote health initiatives and to support our EA’s Health & Wellbeing Strategy.

We will hold an information session on Thursday 15 April 2021 from 10am – 11.30am via MS Teams

This session will include a short presentation on the role of a Health and Wellbeing Champion, open discussions, the sharing of ideas and consideration of next steps to drive forward specific health and wellbeing initiatives.

It is recommended that you seek your manager’s approval prior to attendance at the registration day.

Key achievements of the Champions Network to date include:

  • Assisted in the naming and launch of the HealthWell Hub
  • Supported the implementation of the HealthWell Programmes August-October 2020 & November – March 2021
  • Supported in the commencement of

‘We Care’ Packs – 200 care packs were donated and delivered to the most vulnerable young people.

Christmas Family Appeal – over £17,000 donated to help families provide a gift for a child at Christmas.

  • Champion initiative Reading through MS Teams which allows us all to connect through reading
  • Champion ideas have constructed the content of the EA Healthwell programme
