We were delighted to have Mo McCoy from wildswim.ie come and share her expertise with us.  Mo is an award-winning long-distance open water swimmer.  In 2009 just after her fortieth birthday, she fulfilled her childhood ambition to swim the English Channel.

Mo's sessions cover the below topics:

  • Water Safety including cold water shock, acclimatising and keeping yourself safe
  • Tides + Currents; choosing when and where to swim, fresh water vs sea 
  • Adapting Strokes; essential skills, dealing with waves, taking your swimming further
