A delicious smoothie that is perfect for a hot summers day that also contributes to your 5-a-day!

 

Ingredients (Serves 2)

  • 125g of fruit flavoured yoghurt (ideally strawberry, raspberry or cherry)
  • 200g of fresh or frozen summer berries (such as strawberries, raspberries or blackberries)
  • 150ml of cranberry juice
  • 1 banana

 

What you will need

  • Chopping board
  • Chopping knife
  • Hand blender
  • Mixing bowl

 

Method

  1. If using frozen berries, allow them to thaw a little.
  2. Peel the banana and roughly chop.
  3. Add all the ingredients in a bowl and puree with a liquidiser or hand blender.
  4. Pour into glasses and enjoy straight away.
