Frankie Hughes 10 Mile Memorial Walk in aid of Marie Curie

Cancer / Workplace Health

The Team from The Armagh Office Autism Advisory & Intervention Service, including staff from admin, Early Years, Primary and Post Primary all participated in a 10 mile walk on Friday 11 June 2021 in memory of Frankie Hughes and in aid of Marie Curie.

Frankie was the dear husband of their esteemed work colleague Alicia.  Marie Curie provided amazing care and support to Frankie, Alicia, Kyle and their families.

The Team wanted to not only display their support to Alicia and Kyle but they wished to use this time to remember all their family and friends that have been affected by Cancer.

Their walk took them along the Portadown to Newry towpath (Mullahead to Poyntzpass, returning to Scarva) and Lunch was kindly provided by Hollie Berrie Tearooms.

As you can see from the photos attached below the weather was very kind and had perfect walking conditions!

The team had an amazing day for an amazing charity and in memory of an amazing Man!

Please see the teams Just Giving Page link below where they have been supported by so many and raised much needed funds to ensure Marie Curie continue to offer expert care, guidance and support to people living with a terminal illness
